WORDS OF WELCOME
GATHERING WORDS (If you are worshipping with others, you may use two or more voices in a “Call to Worship” style at home).
No matter where we are, our God is present with us.
God in Christ seeks after us and finds us right where we are.
Though we are scattered in many places, we gather our hearts and our Spirits as one to worship our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
We gather to worship the One who shared our life, the One who died, the One who rose to new life, and One who now sits a God’s right hand.
We come to be refreshed and filled with God’s Holy Spirit.
Renew us, O God, with your love, grace and power!
Strengthen us to live and to proclaim your forgiving love everywhere!
HYMN Hail the Day That Sees Him Rise #312
OPENING PRAYER Almighty God, your promise of the Holy Spirit is for us as well as for generations past. Let your blessing fall on us while we unite our hearts for worship. Fill us with your Holy Spirit that we might be your witnesses through your church, Christ’s body. Empower us to share the hope and assurance that is ours through Jesus, our Risen and glorified Lord, in our community and beyond, that others might know you and be transformed by your love, grace and forgiveness. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

PRAYER OF DISCIPLESHIP
THE LORD’S PRAYER #895
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
