WORDS OF WELCOME
GATHERING WORDS (If you are worshipping with others, you may use two or more voices in a “Call to Worship” style at home).
Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!
You have set your glory in the heavens.
2 Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.
3 When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place,
4 what human beings that you are mindful of them, mortals that you care for them?
5 You have made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor.
6 You made them rulers over the works of your hands; you put everything under their feet:
7 all flocks and herds, and the animals of the wild,
8 the birds in the sky, and the fish in the sea, all that swim the paths of the seas.
9 Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!
HYMN OF PRAISE Holy, Holy, Holy #64
OPENING PRAYER Holy God, you have revealed Yourself to us in more ways than we can count. You are all that was and is and is to come. We have gathered our hearts to worship You. Maker of mountains and seas, Giver of light and darkness, we marvel at the work of your hands. Reconciler and Redeemer, we stand amazed by your forgiving love that draws us to You, sets us free from sin and death, and empowers us to care for one another. Spirit of Truth, your presence is with us always and you walk with us each day, guiding and directing our path. Triune God, bless this gathering of your people, we pray, in the name of Jesus our Lord. Amen.

GOSPEL LESSON Matthew 28:16-20
16 Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. 17 And when they saw him they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age.”
This the Word of God for the people of God. Thanks be to God!
