HYMN OF PRAISE Children of the Heavenly Father #141
OPENING PRAYER Loving God, you have made us as your children and you keep us as the apple of your eye. We come before you in this time of worship to offer unto you our praise and thanksgiving. When the road is long and we are weary, you are gracious to us, sustaining us, and giving us Your strength. Empower us by your Spirit as we worship. Give us the grace and endurance to take up your cross and follow, no matter how difficult the road may be. Renew and revive our souls, and make us faithful as your disciples. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

PRAYER OF DISCIPLESHIP
THE LORD’S PRAYER #895
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
HYMN OF DISCPLESHIP Take Up Thy Cross #415
BLESSING Brothers and sisters, we go forth to live as Christ’s disciples in the world, knowing that God loves us and gives us everything we need to live abundant lives by God’s grace. In the power of God’s Spirit, go forth to take up the cross and follow wherever Christ may lead you. In the name of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. All God’s people said, Amen.
