WORDS OF WELCOME/ENTER THE LIGHT OF CHRIST (You may light a candle at home if you wish)
The earth is the Lord’s and all that is in it!
The world and all those who live in it!
Fling wide the temple gates and open up the ancient doors.
We stretch out our hands and open our hearts. Our God is here!
God reaches out to comfort and forgive, to wipe away our tears, to make all things new.
We are God’s people, redeemed by the blood of Christ, saints who share in Christ’s ministry to all the world. Come, let us worship the Lord!
HYMN OF PRAISE Sing With All the Saints in Glory #702
OPENING PRAYER Lord of all creation, we bless your holy name today. Together with all the saints that surround your throne, we lift up our hearts in thanksgiving and praise for your gifts of love and grace in our lives, and in the lives of all those who have lived and died in the faith. We give thanks today for all your servants who have finished their course in this life and now rest from their labors. Give us grace to follow their steadfast example of faithfulness, to your honor and glory. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

THE LORD’S PRAYER Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
