Worship with us online May 2, 2021

Posted By EmmanuelUMC on May 3, 2021 |

It has been so wonderful to gather once again in our Sanctuary for worship. An added blessing yesterday was the opportunity for us to sing hymns in worship indoors (while masked and socially distanced) for the first time since the COVID-19 restrictions were implemented.
Now that we are worshipping in-person and indoors once again, we experimented with recording yesterday’s live worship service to edit and post for the online service, so this week’s video will look different from our usual online offerings. We are in the process of refining the process and figuring out what will work best, so please be patient as we try some new things to help us streamline the production of the online service.
Please find the Online and Worship by Phone Order of Worship below.
We look forward to seeing everyone back in worship soon!

Our God of love welcomes us and invites us to abide in His holy presence.

We come rejoicing that though Christ, we can live in God’s love.

*OPENING PRAYER     Loving God, open our hearts to your love; open our minds to your will; open our lives to your grace; open our church to your world. We come together as your people to learn of You. We come because we need the Good News ourselves so that we can share it with others. We seek to know your Word and to be led by it. Fill us with your love and grace this hour as we lift our hearts to you. May our worship glorify your name and be pleasing unto you. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

THE LORD’S PRAYER Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.  And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.  For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever.  Amen.
