Emmanuel Church Family: At tonight’s ZOOM meeting (Feb. 22), our church leadership unanimously decided for us to return to in-person worship beginning this coming Sunday, February 27 at 10:30 a.m. Mask wearing is still encouraged when inside the church building, but not required. We continue to ask that you please wear a mask when coming into the church office during the week when the staff is present.
In-person committee meetings may also resume, with the continuation of the sign-in procedures already in place.
For outside groups using our facility: The leader of each group is responsible for deciding whether to make masks mandatory or optional for your group. Leaders should consider the age, health and vaccination status of group members when making this decision. The current sign-in procedures for all groups will remain in place. It will continue to be the responsibility of each group leader to notify the pastor if someone in your group tests positive within 10 days after your gathering.
While we are all eager to return to worship in our Sanctuary and to be together as a church family once again, we encourage each individual and family to please use your best judgement regarding your return to worship. Age, health, family circumstances, and vaccination status are all factors to consider. If you are ill or are experiencing symptoms, have been exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19, or are awaiting COVID-19 test results, please do not attend any gatherings at church until your symptoms subside or you have received a negative test result.
